Hi, I'm Kate, the founder of Remnant Media Co.

I was born in California, grew up in Austin, Texas, graduated from Texas A&M University, and found myself back in the beautiful Bay Area. I have been passionate about photography and capturing memories since I was young, and I am blessed to be able to live out my passion to continue to capture all of life's moments.

Over the years, I’ve photographed many different kinds of stories, but the ones that stay with me are the deeply personal ones; wedding days, growing families, couples building a life together. The sacred, fleeting, ordinary-but-extraordinary moments that deserve to be remembered.

My style is romantic and documentary. I’m drawn to real connection: the joy of the first look, the quiet tears during vows, the laughter that breaks out when no one’s posing. I’ll gently guide when needed, but I care most about capturing what’s true.

I believe there’s something meaningful about preserving these moments. Marriage, family, legacy ⏤  they matter. And it’s an honor I don’t take lightly to document them.

My hope is that when you look back at your photos years from now, you don’t just see how it looked, you remember how it felt.
